PLATONIC RELATIONSHIP

I'm sure that you guys have encountered the term platonic love. It is the term used by many to describe a relationship that exists between two persons of the opposite sex which means love that exist between friends. As in mag friends lang talaga, no romantic love involve, whatsoever. I've know some friends who claimed that the love that exist between the two of them is purely platonic. But is it really possible that two persons of the opposite sex could be that close and not end up liking or loving each other as a couple? I was amazed! At nagtataka talaga ako everytime na nakakakita ako ng mga tao na nagsasabing "friends lang kami" but they are super sweet. Friends lang sila pero bakit mas madalas pa nila kasama ang friend nila as compare sa BF or GF nila diba? Hay! Nakakaloka! Parang more than friends pero less than lovers ang drama nila. Okay, let's assume that they are really just friends, and each one has his/her special someone. But is it not possible to fall for your friend kasi nga di ba you are super close. At kahit may special someone kayo parang it's hard not to fall for your friend lalo na kung kayo yung laging magkasama. Ano kaya ang chances that you will not fall for your friend and hanggang kailan nyo masasabi na mag friends lang kayo?
