The Sweetest Things

This post is way too late for Valentine's but let me share the sweetest things a guy has ever done for me. I was in 4th year college and there was this sophomore guy who was very eager to win my heart. Actually I was in 3rd year college when he started courting me but since I was in a relationship that time, all I can offer to him was friendship. A year after, he was still exerting much effort just to be his girlfriend. It was Feb of 2005 when we had job fair in our school. After the seminar, a girl approached me asking, "Di ba ikaw si Paula?". Then she accompanied me from 4th floor down to the grounds of our school. From the 4th floor down the ground floor, people were giving me red roses. I was so surprised! Most of them I don't really know personally. Then finally we were able to reach the school ground and after receiving more than 2 or 3 dozens of red roses, that guy gave me the last rose which is white in color to symbolize purity of his intentions. And then I heard the song Love Moves by Nina in the background. I was speechless for a moment! Hay! I have to admit that it was really so sweet. He also did the traditional harana, singing Grow Old With You and Crazy For You. Awww! Up to date I still consider his deeds to be the sweetest things a guy has ever done for me.
