SEARCH FOR WARMTH: ZELLE

Music has always been part of my life. I enjoy listening to almost all kinds of music. When OPM bands hit the spotlight once again, I was surprised to hear how good our local bands are. I admire people who can write songs, those who are gifted with very nice voice, those who can play musical instruments. Before when I was younger, I can clearly remember the attributes of musicians. They are never afraid to perform in front of huge crowd. They play their instruments with confidence. They are dressed according to the musical genre that they belong to. And argue with me, but mostly the band members are male. Band of the 90's will prove how dominant the male band members are. But now that we are in the 20th century, I think the female species have found there way in the music industry. Before, rock and alternative bands would mean male members. But now equality is making a lot of sense. I was lucky to have seen this band performed live. There music is refreshing. Most of there songs I can really relate to. The band that I'm talking about is Zelle. A band with 5 members and there instruments include the drums, bass, guitar (acoustic & electric) and a violin which adds a twist to there sound. There music is more on pop-rock. Zelle is composed 0f 4 male members. The lead vocalist is Jeazell Grutas, the only rose among the thorns. Aside from doing vocals, she also plays acoustic guitar for the band. You might think that Jeazell is just an ordinary singer but she'll prove you wrong. Aside from the powerful voice that she have, she is also the brain of the band for she wrote most of the songs in there 1st album entitled "Search For Warmth. " Zelle is definitely a band to watch out for. I know they'll hit big time very soon!
